IOC applies a rental charge to all gas cylinders. Unless you specify otherwise, your cylinders will default to annual rental. Two rental options are available: monthly and annual.

Monthly Rental

Monthly rental charges are billed in arrears. If you increase your cylinder holdings during the month, a full month's rental charge will be applied to the additional cylinders at the end of the same month.

Annual Rental

Annual rental is billed once per year, in advance. If you add cylinders during the year, rental charges for the new cylinders charged for the months used from the date of acquisition to the next renewal date.

For example, if your renewal date is the 1st of January and you add an additional cylinder in June, you will be charged seven months' rental for that cylinder. On 1st January, you will then be billed for 12 months' rental on all cylinders held at that time.

If your cylinder holdings decrease, you will receive a credit note for the unused rental period, calculated on the number of months remaining.
